Behaviour Services
BleuDore’s Behaviour Services provide neuro-affirming, trauma-informed support for children, young people, and adults with complex needs.
Our approach focuses on understanding behaviour, not judging it, recognising behaviour as communication shaped by a person’s environment, relationships, sensory needs, and lived experiences.
We work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, schools, and services to develop practical, strengths-based strategies that build safety, regulation, connection, and skill development.
All support is grounded in evidence-based practice and delivered with compassion, respect, and a deep understanding of disability, trauma, and developmental difference.

Positive Behaviour Support
Positive Behaviour Support at BleuDore is a person-centred, neuro-affirming approach that aims to improve quality of life by understanding the why behind behaviour. We recognise behaviour as communication and work to identify underlying needs, including sensory, emotional, environmental, and relational factors.
Support is typically funded through the NDIS, with private funding options also available. BleuDore provides comprehensive behaviour assessments, Functional Behaviour Assessments, and individualised Behaviour Support Plans that are practical, ethical, and aligned with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework.
We work collaboratively with participants, families, carers, and support teams to reduce restrictive practices, build skills, and create environments where people feel safe, understood, and supported to thrive.
Behaviour Consultant
Behaviour Consulting at BleuDore offers therapeutic, family-centred support for parents and children to better understand why behaviours are occurring and how everyday environments and interactions can influence them. This service is available to any family and does not require NDIS funding.
Our approach focuses on helping parents and carers make practical, responsive adjustments to the home environment, routines, and parenting strategies to reduce stress, build connection, and support positive behaviour change. Rather than “fixing” a child, we work alongside families to strengthen understanding, confidence, and relationships—recognising behaviour as communication and prioritising regulation, safety, and connection.

Parent/Carer Coaching
BleuDore’s Parent and Carer Coaching supports families to build confidence, connection, and practical skills through a Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®)-informed approach. Coaching focuses on understanding children’s behaviours through a relational, developmental, and trauma-informed lens, recognising behaviour as communication rather than defiance.
We work alongside parents and carers to strengthen responsive caregiving, adjust expectations and environments, and develop strategies that support regulation, felt safety, and connection. Coaching is tailored to each family’s needs and is suitable for carers supporting children with trauma histories, neurodivergence, developmental differences, or complex emotional needs.
TBRI Training
BleuDore offers Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) training for organisations, parents, carers, and individuals seeking a deeper understanding of trauma-informed, attachment-focused care. TBRI® is an evidence-based framework designed to support children and young people who have experienced trauma, adversity, neurodivergence, or disrupted attachment.
Our training explores the Empowering, Connecting, and Correcting Principles of TBRI®, providing practical, real-world strategies to build felt safety, strengthen relationships, and respond to behaviour with insight and compassion. Training can be tailored for professional teams or delivered in accessible, supportive formats for families and carers.
